• Anno Europeo delle Persone Disabili: un movimento popolare (31/12/2002)
  Il Commissario Europeo per l’Occupazione e gli Affari Sociali, Anna Diamantopoulou, ha iniziato oggi il conto alla rovescia verso il 2003 annunciando il programma di interventi della Commissione Europea per l’Anno Europeo delle Persone Disabili nel 2003. Lo scopo dell’anno Europeo è quello di ottenere pari diritti per le persone disabili. L’attenzione sarà focalizzata, in tutta Europa, nelle molte aree della società dove barriere e discriminazione esistono ancora per un disabile su dieci in Europa.
• Año Europeo de las Personas con Discapacidad: Un movimiento popular (31/12/2002)
  La Comisaria Europea de Empleo y Asuntos Sociales Anna Diamantopoulou comenzó ayer la cuenta atrás para el 2003 anunciando el plan de acción de la Comisión Europea para el Año Europeo de las Personas con Discapacidad. El Año Europeo pretende conseguir la igualdad de derechos para las personas discapacitadas. En toda Europa la atención estará puesta en aquellas áreas de la sociedad donde las personas con discapacidad, una de cada diez personas europeas, aún son discriminadas y deben enfrentarse a muchos obstáculos.
• European Year of People with Disabilities: a grassroots movement (31/12/2002)
  European Commissioner for Employment and Social Affairs, Anna Diamantopoulou, today started the countdown to 2003 by announcing the European Commission’s action plan for the European Year of People with Disabilities in 2003. The European Year aims to drive progress towards achieving equal rights for people with disabilities. Across Europe attention will be focused on the many areas of European society where barriers and discrimination still exist for the one in ten Europeans with a disability.
• Europees Jaar van Mensen met een Handicap: een basisbeweging (31/12/2002)
  Vandaag maakte Anna Diamantopoulou, Europees Commissaris voor Werkgelegenheid en Sociale zaken, het actieplan van de Europese Commissie bekend voor het Europees Jaar van Mensen met een Handicap, en gaf hiermee de start voor de aftelling naar 2003. Het Europees Jaar wenst een nieuwe impuls te geven aan het streven naar gelijke kansen voor mensen met een handicap. In heel Europa zal de aandacht worden toegespitst op de vele domeinen in de Europese maatschappij waar belemmeringen en discriminatie nog steeds één op de tien Europeanen met een handicap treffen.
• Europäisches Jahr der Menschen mit Behinderungen: eine bodenständige Bewegung (31/12/2002)
  Die Europäische Beauftragte für Arbeit und Soziales, Frau Anna Diamantopoulou, hat heute den Countdown bis zum Jahr 2003 begonnen, als sie den Aktionsplan der Europäischen Kommission für das Europäische Jahr der Menschen mit Behinderungen 2003 ankündigte. Das Europäische Jahr zielt darauf ab, den Fortschritt auf dem Weg zum Erreichen von gleichen Rechten für Menschen mit Behinderungen voranzubringen. In ganz Europa wird sich die Aufmerksamkeit auf die vielen Bereiche der europäischen Gesellschaft konzentrieren, in denen Barrieren und Diskriminierung immer noch für jeden zehnten Europäer existieren, der unter einer Behinderung leidet.
